Our Term 1 project took place from September to December 2017. During those months, the grade 9 class at Bingham Academy donated money every month and raised a total of 1,550 ETB. This money was used to buy school equipment that was donated to the children and youths at Brave Hearts Ethiopia. Our Term 2 project took place from January to May 2018. We helped raise money for a premature baby named Tessfa. He is diagnosed with hydrocephalus and went through many procedures and surgeries to put a shunt in his brain to redirect the water. As his medical bills are very expensive, the Bingham Student Charity stepped in to help, raising $300 for the medical costs. The Grade 9 class at Bingham raised over 2000 ETB and also over 4000 ETB from a bakesale.
